So last week I purchased an open box MBP at a local Apple store. Then few days ago I found out that they lowered the price on open box MBP and added MB to the refurbished section. So the next day I call few Apple store and I find out from the one I bought mines at has a 2.0 with a gloss screen for only $100 more than I payed for. So I made the move and purchased the 2.0 and wow is the gloss screen nicer imho. I can't really tell a difference between speed(did notice installing os x was 4min faster). The only thing is the laptop battery is a little shaky when moving with it but it is not to bother some or noticeable. Is this normal? I didn't notice it on the last one but then again I didn't really move it much either.

Nice find! I didn't realize until your thread that refurb MBs are already available. 
I have to start budgeting for when I want one, now.... Hmmm, but that will probably be towards the end of the year, when my iBook turns 4.

Good stuff, thanks for the info. I'm hoping new Mac is "fixed" from some of the issues people have been having.
