I am currently running my AT&T Iphone 4 04.10.01 unlocked using a Gevey Sim here in Denmark!

As i would like to be able to upgrade to the new iOS 5 firmware and just have the Iphone unlocked to use worldwide.

Is this possible to keep the baseband at 04.10.01 but have it running iOS 5?

Thanks ;)

I also have an iPhone 4 with the 4.10 baseband. I used snowbreeze to update You can either do stock option one or you can do a jailbreak tethered option 2. I would recommend going stock because the gevey sim doesn't play well with the jailbreak. I tried the jailbreak first and I had to use a computer to restart my phone and then the steps for the gevey sim. And when I would do the gs steps I had to do it like five or six times before it would take. When I went back to stock it would work the first time. Was really scared that my phone would crash while I was out and I wouldn't be able to start my phone. And most of the jailbreak apps have not been updated to 5.0 yet. You are going to need an AT&T sim card to get your phone activated. It doesn't have to be an active card. And you are good to go. I am loving iOS 5 and am getting use to not having the jailbreak.
