I upgraded by accident and now eVasi0n does not support 7.1 Beta 5. I see they support 7.1 Beta 3 but I am not able to downgrade to Beta 3 only to Beta 4 which is also not supported by eVasi0n. I do have a developers account. What can I do to get my jailbreak back? I downgrade to 7.1 Beta 3 but Apple wont let me activate it.

Any help will be appreciated

Downgrade to iOS 7.0.4/7.0.5.

If I downgrade to 7.04/7.05 I will not be able to back up from icloud back up since my icloud back up is from 7.1

I meant I will not be able to restore from my icloud back up

That's part of the risk when using a beta iOS version for anything but developmental purposes.

Maybe I can back up to iTunes then restore. Everytime I restore from icloud do I have some apps and pictures missing though

Same restrictions exist when restoring from an iTunes backup, only the same or newer version of iOS is allowed.

Thanks. Sounds like I am screwed unless eVasi0n supports Beta 4 or 5 in the near future.

Any suggestions? I want the jailbreak back so I guess I can only save my contacts and save my pictures on a separate folder but apps would be gone?

if you search the forums there has been a way to use your 7.1 backup on 7.0.4. there are something you willl have to edit but there was a thread about it a little while back

You can backup to iTunes, and then edit the 2 plist files and change ios 7.1 to ios 7.0.4 in the 2 files. I made a thread about it in the ios 7 forum about 4 months ago...

Edit: the guy above me posted the link to the thread, thanks.

Ehhhhhh, I wouldn't be so quick to say that.

Not anytime soon, no.

iOS 7.1 beta 4 and newer have patched some of the exploits used in evasi0n7. Thus, jailbreaking it would require a whole new jailbreak vector. Because of that, those betas will never be supported by evasi0n7.

Mate, you don't have to patronise me. I'm WELL aware of which vulnerabilities were patched by Apple in the new betas. What I'm saying is, when 7.1 is released, there is a somewhat decent possibility that evasi0n will release another (likely final) jailbreak, in which case it can be back ported to support betas. However much good that will do at that time.

Worked like a charm. You guys are awesome. Thanks

While a jailbreak maybe released for iOS 7.1, it is unlikely that it will be named the same thing as the current iOS 7.0.X jailbreak in order to prevent confusion with the general public.

In the case it is released, it will work with all iOS 7 versions so there will be no need to rename it.

Still unlikely to happen. Not only is there a chance that there will not be a 7.1 jailbreak until after it is no longer relevant, but that only one out of the past 4 major iOS version jailbreaks has been named the same across x.1./2./3 update releases.

To be fair, the previous versions haven't been released by the same teams :) and yeah it's not insanely likely, BUT if there is a 7.1 JB it will probably be from evad3rs... maybe p0sixspwn

I would say it would be a separate package just for 7.1 if it does get released. It probably makes it easier since the two jailbreaks will use different methods

If they were all back ported, 5.1.0 would've been supported, along with 5.0.1 and 5.1.1

As it is now, this is all just hypothetical
