Hi i want to upgrade my 3gs 3.1.3 bb=5.12.01 to ios4 without upgrading to new bb i am currently jb and unlocked can any one tell me how to do this or will i have to wait for pwanage tools for new bootrom.?

Are you JB now on 3.1.3 and what did you use to JB?
If you used spirit you cant update to custom 4.0 with pwnage.
