iPad Upgrade to iPad Pro 9.7 from a Air or wait for Air 3

As the title mentions, I currently use the air. I was actually expecting an air 3 but apple came out with a pro. Pro seems to be on the expensive side but I could get the 32gb one.

I am though confused since I waited so much should I wait more and wait for the air 3 (if at all there is one) or get the pro.

The new 9.7 pro is the air 3. It's just a name change.

Unlikely there will be an Air 3 as it seems this new iPad Pro 9.7" is indeed the Air 3.
