Hello to all. I have been reconsidering OCLP and upgrading my Mac Pro now and just wondering if the wifi/bluetooth card from a Mac Mini 2014 model would work with the MP 5,1? It looks like t would and it supports AC and BT 4.0.

Any thoughts?

Kinda very kludge, but people have done it in the past.

Mac mini 2014 Airport Extreme is the BCM94360CS, where the male antenna connectors on PCB are smaller than the Mac Pro antennas connectors, so, you'll need adapters for the antennas and for the mini-PCIe slot. Better to get a real BCM94360CD instead where you'll just need the adapter for mini-PCIe slot.

Don't forget that you'll need an adapter card where you can make the Bluetooth USB D+ D- signals connection since the Mac Pro does not have the USB signals inside the mini-PCIe connector. Use the search on the main thread for more info:
