upgrade worthy?

Hey guys and gals long time lurker first time poster, I currently own a 2007 20" imac. It is the 2.0ghz model with the 128 mb 2400 ati card.

The question I have is would it be a worthy upgrade going from what I have to the top model imac (3.06ghz with gt 130). I get a 17% off company discount so the price is below $2100.00.

I just don't want to waist money if I wont notice a difference. I use it to play wow, make hd movies and edit in lightroom often.

If your current model can't do that, upgrade. If it can, there is no need for new one.

You will notice a big difference, as the CPU, GPU and RAM are faster and better.

If playing games is important, then get new with the 4xxx card.

You can always sell your old system on Craigslist to help recoup some costs too.
