upgraded late 2009 mini to 4GB ram,

I have a total of 5GB ram now installed. I can see the difference when i'm using handbrake and being able to do other things. What would be the next step. All my media and files are on external hard drives and I have 148GB of the 160GB hard drive left. Should i go with a SSD next?
