I can not access internet. First it say all sites are insecure but when I press forward and say go there anyway it states I have no internet.
I did a clean install of Mojave on my 2017 MBP 16 with 16Gigs of RAM.
It worked just fine with the clean Mojave installation.
I have a Synology router which works just fine with Mojave, Catalina and Big Sur.

Any suggestion? Should I go back to Mojave and upgrade to Big Sur and stay away from Monterey for now?

I need to use it for work and it will require a newer OS than Mojave. I thought I might as well go for the latest but obviously there are some serious issues still with Monterey

ny somewhere
this is not an issue with monterey, it's an issue you're having.

you could:

go to system preferences>network, create a new location, select your wifi network, and try to connect.

reboot your modem/router.

contact apple directly, let them walk you thru options...

return to this forum with results, details... and perhaps people here can help sort it out.

Actually another restart and disable/enable wifi and it started to work. But I was curious if people have seen this before when moving from Mojave to Monterey?

a system update creates a lot of orphaned and corrupt preferences, files and other unused trash that sometimes hinder operations. Clean install, new user etc all help to clean the system from the junk, even deleting old preferences and cache is a good idea
