The other day I put in another gig of RAM into my 1.67ghz PowerBook that I ordered online. Afterwards, I've had problems with my computer freezing and I even had a kernel panic at one point.

I just ran the hardware test and came up with the follow error:

2MEM/104/4:SODIMM1/J23REVERSED

Does anyone know what that means? What should I do?

just a guess but maybe it is backwards (if possible, my iBook ram only goes in one way though) OR incompatible...
Was it apple certified?
Proper specs for your powerbook?

it's not backwards. the reverse simply points out which slot it is located in.

yeah, it was supposedly apple certified and they required me to send them the specs of my computer when ordering to make sure that it was compatible.
