I just upgraded to the 7.1.2 JB and everything looks fine except for my iPod. When I try to play a song from it, it just gets stuck and nothing plays. Anyone else have this problem or a solution???

Help because I really don't want to jailbreak my iPhone 5 again.

Are you using iTunes Match, or syncing files natively through iTunes?

Syncing files natively through iTunes. I had a playlist that would sync automatically to my iPhone. I experimented and deleted the playlist thinking it might have got corrupted during the sync. So i just dragged just one song to my iPhone and it still gets stuck.

Hmmm, my only good suggestions were related to iTunes Match. Maybe try un-checking the "sync music" box, sync, then re-check the box and sync again?

Short of that, my only suggestion would be to restore to stock, sync music, and make sure it plays before using pangu. if it doesn't play on the clean restore, then you gotta make an appointment at the "genius" bar. If it does play, then go ahead and jailbreak. Test again before restoring any backup; if the problem happens only after restoring from a backup, that backup might not work

I just checked my iPad which I did a jailbreak to 7.1.2 and the iPod works. I'm going to restore my phone again and do another jailbreak. Argh! :(

It's a drag, I know, but better to get it right while you still can (while Apple is still signing a jailbreakable firmware)

I'd assume this will be the last update for iOS 7 with iOS 8 around the corner. It's probably a waste of programming.
