After upgrading to El Capitan, I get this message persistently in mail:

The operation could not be completed.
No other information is available about the problem

Any ideas?

I ran disk utility [Restart, Command-R] and no problems were identified.

This error message keeps popping up:

Richard,

Thanks for posting that. I did as you suggested. The log file was huge, but most of the errors seemed to relate to SpamSieve. I upgraded that program, and the error messages stopped.

Thanks again.
