I upgraded to version 2.0 the other day and things are going down hill fast!!
I stopped receiving all forwarded e-mail from my MacBook. Even after following the instruction on the iphone site. Also, my battery is running dry every 12 hours. Previously I could go two to three days w/o having to charge.
Any suggestions?

Most of that has to do with Location Services, which are enabled by default, and even when you turn them off, everything asks to turn it back on, but doesn't turn it off when done.

So this is a problem with first gen iPhones too? I'm having this along with other issues. My reception is at 1 bar where it used to have four or five. I'm dropping calls left and right and I'm this close to going back to 1.1.4. Guess I'm keeping my hopes up that Apple will release a bug fix upgrade in the near future.

I am also having strange problems along with shortened battery life.
Is anyone else experiencing extreme slowness with their iphone?
I have a 1st gen upgraded to 2.0, now when i get a text message and i click reply, it will open up the sms window but it will stay white for about 5 to 6 seconds before i can see the conversation to reply.
also when i go into address book, the screen is non responsive for about 3 to 4 seconds before i can start scrolling through contacts.
mail does the same thing as sms. also when i unlock the iphone it takes a couple seconds to actually display the icons.
I thought that possibly ssh was killing the battery, but i installed bosstools and its suppose to be off and the battery still drains in under 12 hours. ive tried rebooting and nothing helps.
I have also experienced weak signals as another post has stated, in places where i normally got good reception, its not very poor.

the only thing i can think of is after i upgraded to 2.0 i did a restore of all my data instead of starting fresh, and im thinking that possibly something that doesnt like 2.0 got brought over from my 1.1.4 install.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Am i the only one having slowness problems with 2.0? if so i might have to restore and not restore my data this time (which would suck)

thanks for any help.
