Upgrades For A Late 2015 Imac 27 Inch.

Hi Guys Im a pro photographer, and occasional hobbies Videographer.

I have the above iMac. It has 24 Gig Of Ram. 1 TB Sata Hard Drive and AMD Radeon R9 M380 2 GB graphics, Intel 3.2 ghz
core I5 processor

Its getting a little slow when running Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and devinci resolve for video.

Ive ordered an External SSD with a hope of speeding it up a bit.

Any advice on upgrades and prices would be helpful or should I start saving for a newer model ?

Other than the SSD upgrade, I don’t see any other upgrade useful for your use case. you should be fine with this iMac at least until the redesign

The 2015 model can be upgraded to 32GB of RAM. The external SSD should help when moving the app to the SSD. (ie, opening photoshop from the SSD)

Thanks for your replies guys. Ive ordered the 1tb Sandisk pro. I don't think ill be able to take advantage of its full speed at usb three ?? But sounds like I should get some speed increase
