My hard disk is 500 gb. I want to use disk doubler to add another 1 tb SSHD. OWC is selling kit with Toshiba sshd. Does this kit include all the tools I require including logic board removal kit? They are also selling tools for USD 28.00 where all the tools are shown in the picture. Does the tools kit with the hard disk have all these tools?

The kit from OWC has everything you will need to do it. The board removal is a U-looking thing.

Now in all seriousness, watch the video they have on how to do it. You can seriously screw up the remote receiver if you don't. If you don't use the remote and won't ever use the remote it's not the end of the world. However, I'd still recommend the videos that OWC offers. Watch them until your eyes bleed and then make sure it's running while you do it.

Everything is included but the tools will be very basic. I have my own drivers so only used the pry tool to slide the logic board out. I suggest installing the new drive in the upper bay. Upper is closer to the top of the mini when it's sitting on the desk correctly. In the future when/if the spinning drive dies you only have to remove the bottom cover, grill and at most the fan to swap it.
