Upgrading a 2010 8 core to a 12 core

Hello again!

I was thinking of upgrading a 2010 8 core Mac Pro to a 12 core.

Can I accomplish this by following these instructions for upgrading a 4 to a 6 core twice?

certainly! but it will be more costy, because, as far as I know, these 3.33hex cpu's will not work woth your DP logic board

You need to use Xeon 5600 series processors. The ones that are worth considering are in the link below.
