Hi guys i'm trying to upgrade my CS2 software to CS3. I just bought a new iMac and i'm having difficulties with my InDesign CS2 to work on it, if you guys are unfamiliar with the issue, it's whenever you adjust any text on the document, the text disappears. It reappears after you hit save.

Anyways, i'm trying to find something cheap online preferably Amazon or eBay. I saw this on Amazon.

Adobe Creative Suite 3.3 Design Standard Upgrade from CS3

Is this what I need for upgrading from CS2? Or is 3.3 an upgrade from CS 3.0? I Just want to be sure i'm buying the right thing.

If you guys can anwser this simple question that would be great! Also honestly all I want is InDesign CS3 and that's it! It's hard to find online, can anyone suggest where to look? I would get 4 but a lot of printers and people we work with dont have 4 and i hate to export inx every single time.

People with CS1 should be aware that when CS5 launches on April 12 you'll lose the ability to upgrade at the discount rate (they only cover the last 3 releases).

I'm a little cautious on what to do here. Yes I know CS5 is coming out in a few weeks but a lot of our printers or people we work with only CS3 and you can only save down one on InDesign using the .inx tag. I do own a CS4 Middle Eastern Version of Indesign, but i can't really use that on current stuff I use. The text goes right to left.

I have CS2 on this new iMac with Snow Leopard and there's a bug with InDesign and the text missing each time you adjust something.

One solution is to uninstall CS4 ME and then install CS4 USA Version, I have a friend who owns one, question. How many computers can you install CS4 on? What if you don't register ever? Would there be any problems?

Another is to find CS3 Indesign somewhere?

Thoughts?

This website has what your looking for:

http://www.discountmountainsoftware.com/adobe.html

The company is in Denver CO. You will not believe their pricing on Adobe software. The software is legal, too. I know because I have bought from them in the past. I have 2 copies of the Adobe Premium Design Suite CS4. The only thing you don't get is the retail box, which you would toss anyway!
They also have ID CS3. If you do not see it on their web site you can call them toll free:

If, you install 1 copy of CS4 on 2 computers, with the same serial number on 2 computers, you will only be able to use CS4 on 1 computer at a time. If your going to use 2 computers at the same time, you will need to purchase 2 copies of CS4. I had to do this with 2 computers being used at the same time in my design studio.
