My old 10.5 works great albeit the battery is somewhat diminished. I don't need more storage or power. I only use it for web browsing, FaceTime and music. The only reason I am thinking of upgrading is screen quality? Would it be worth it to upgrade and notice the difference on some of the newer models?

The only screen upgrade you can get is if you jump to the Mini-LED 12.9. No improvement in display tech otherwise.

The 12.9 iPad Pro has a nicer screen for sure but if your iPad does what you need it to then check if you can just get the battery replaced rather than buying a new unit.

I just upgraded from the 10.5” yesterday. I think it depends on how your 10.5” is doing. Yes, my battery was getting pretty bad too, but it would still last me for a flight. But I was starting to see some odd behavior where the performance would be terrible. Usually a restart would solve it. I was on the fence as to whether to upgrade, but I’m glad I did.
