Upgrading from JB, unlocked 1.1.1 to 2.0

I've been reading the stickies and from what I see, they all seem to assume that you're already on 1.4... hence this post. I'm only on 1.1.1.

I jailbroke and unlocked the SIM on my iPhone (original) way back last year, and just left it like that - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

But now I think is a good time to catch up with all the benefits of 2.0...

Will the Pwnage tool take me all the way from 1.1.1 to 2.0?

And how will it affect the SIM unlock?

Wait for them to do their stuff to 2.1, which comes out Friday. You don't really want to be stuck on 2.0.x if you can help it. Crash-city.

OK that sounds like a fair point.

But if I did want to upgrade (or maybe when I want to upgrade to 2.1) is it just a case of using Pwnage with my version 1.1.1?

Do I just upgrade as normal through iTunes, from 1.1.1 all the way up to 2.x, and then use Pwnage? And will this cause problems with my unlocked SIM?
