What is the best deal for upgrading the hard drive on my 20 inch 2.0 ghz aluminum iMac? I want to upgrade it to 500 GB, but I don't know much about computers. Is it relatively easy to upgrade it, or will i need someone to come in to do it for me?

User Tom Sawyer says its easy if you have guts, and comfortable with taking things apart and putting them together again.

I have to HD's, a Seagate in my iMac, and WD external. The WD external uses the same HD as the one included in some imacs. It is known that the Seagate drives in the iMacs are faster than the WD's. So really. I am saying, some people can get a faster HD by luck, and i did, i got the Seagate. The WD is the most used in Apple's computers. I recommend this. Its working beautifully in my imac, and uses new perpendicular writing technology. It's the first HD to feature, Highly recommend, you can get it from OWC.

Happy upgrading.
