I have a 3GS firmware version 3.1 (7C144) that I want to update to firmware version 3.1.2. Is this possible? I don't want to update to 3.1.3 because I want to be able to keep my unlock. The only reason I would like to update is because there are a few apps that require 3.1.2 to work. Should I just leave it and say forget it for now? Or is it possible to update just to 3.1.2?

Yes, open up cydia and look at the top of the page.
It should tell you what SHSH's you have saved and for what firmware.

It just says "This device has a pending TSS request" at the top of Cydia. So, I'm guessing I will just stay with 3.1 until there is an unlock for 3.1.3 and then update from there.

If OP ever pushed the button, then he should have 3.1.2 SHSH's.

I actually just got the phone today from a friend. I was stupid and sold mine and got a Nexus One but decided to switch back. It says "This device has SHSHs on file for iPhone OS: 3.1.3"

Yes, if you clicked "make my life easier" thru cydia recently or any time after February 2nd that 3.1.3 came out you wont be able to get anything but 3.1.3 and after SHSH's.
Only thing you can do is wait.

Thank you. I have no problem waiting, but I just figure I would ask because if it was possible I would so that I could use a few of the apps I wanted. Thank you again.
