Upgrading iPhone from 4gig to 8 gig. Questions

IS there anything certain i need to do to achieve this? or do i just restore the old iphone, and plug in the new iphone? thx

Sim card?? I didnt know it had one?? Where is it

The SIM is in the SIM tray at the top of the phone. You need a paperclip to pop it out. I changed phones, and it works fine. Just keep your SIM, since that's what your phone number it tied to, and restore from your itunes backup.
