I have a jailbroken but not unlocked 3g iphone at 2.2 that I want to upgrade to 2.2.1
What do I need to do? (I don't plan to ever unlock)
Can I simply connect to iTunes and do the upgrade or will that affect anything negatively?
I have heard that you have to remove your apps from the categories app before upgrading or they will be lost. Basically I am just looking for any other tips such as that. Thanks

Don't waste your time, wait for a more significant update. :)

If you upgrade through iTunes, you'll unjailbreak your phone and have to perform the process all over again.

There an easy but lengthy method of doing it. I'd rather suggest you stay where you and wait until Apple pushes a more worthwhile update.

If you still want to, you can PM me and I'll send you over the instructions.
