So my new Mini 2.23 arrived today and I'm trying to think of how I'm going to go about restoring the data from the old Mini. I've sold my old Mini, but used SuperDuper to backup to external drive.
Any recommendations? I have a MBP I can use if necessary.

You said you backed up your old Mini's hard drive to an external drive, I think you can connect the external hard drive to your new Mac Mini and pull the files off to your new Mini.

I have a general question about upgrading the hard drive, I have a MacBook, 120gb HD, and thought about upgrading to 320 or 500, please let me know if I am saying this right....

I would create a bootable backup to an external HD using superduper, swap out the HD's, then boot from the external HD and use migration assistant to get the files from the external to the the new internal?

I have never done this before, but to boot from the external, is there anything special that needs to be done, or do I just plug the external into the USB and hit power?

Sorry I hope these are not stupid questions.

Thanks for the tips! Everything appears to be working perfectly :D
