Upgrading Mac Mini 2011 Base Model to 10.8?

Hi,
Around this time last year, I purchased the base model Mac Mini (2GB Ram, 2.3 Ghz i5, Intel HD 3000). I'm now curious if I should upgrade to Mountain Lion. For a $20 price point, it seems like a great deal, but speed and smoothness wise, I don't know if it worth it..... Please give me feedback on this... This is my first new mac since the G4 PowerPC Sunflower iMac in 04'.

Have you or anyone you know upgraded it yet to a Mac Mini?

I update my 2011 Mac Mini i5 2.5ghz with 4gb ram with zero problems. Can't say if it runs faster or the same.
