Upgrading mac pro RAM!

Hi!

At the moment I have Mac Pro with 2x 2,93Ghz CPU's and 8GB of RAM.
In case that this Mac is a part of xgrid, I'm planning to increase RAM.

Does anyone have some experience with it, does it support only original Apple sold RAM's or I can use other brand, for example Kingston?
