I'm stuck with a crappy 4gb iPod Mini with a beat up shell, bad battery life, and obviously, poor capacity storage.

My battery is really messed up. It lasts for about 20 minutes.. so I am aiming to get a good, new replacement battery for the iPod Mini that will last long.

Second on my list is to upgrade the storage. I have around 60gb of music on my iTunes (mostly in lossless formats like WAV and FLAC). I want to get rid of the hard drive and add 16-32gb of flash storage using this tutorial.

Third on my list is to replace the housing and have it designed, maybe simply painted shiny black.

Are there any other suggestions? What else do you guys think I should do? It would be cool to replace the screen with an old color screen from a cellphone and possibly hack the Mini's software to make it have the same software as the Nano... if that's possible? Any insight?
