You can get some here. You can check ebay or take note of the type and check around other places. This is for a 4GB stick. Two 2GB sticks would be cheaper.

What type of improvements will I see by adding two more (2x2) sticks?

Well I ordered some more RAM from Crucial late Friday the 12th and got the 2-day shipping. Crucial's website said it would be here on Wednesday the 17th (via slow UPS) to my surprise it was waiting on my doorstep today when I got home today. So if your looking to upgrade your RAM I highly recommend Crucial.

Just bought some RAM on macsales

Got a 4gb and 2gb kit for my new iMac. Saves me a few bucks instead of upgrading through Apple

If I get 4 gigs in my iMac, how is it in? Just a 4 gig stick? Or is it something stupid like two 2 gig sticks?

If you look on apple.com, it shows you the default config is 4gb in the form of 2x2GB cards.

I chose that, and paid $250US for 6GB giving me a total of 10GB filling up all my slots, but I can live with that more than 4x2GB
