Few questions.. It was probably asked before and i looked but couldnt find some answers...

1. I already have 2 rams of memory want 4 should i just buy 2 additional cheaper memory or go with 4 rams of the same cheap ram. Wonder it it makes a difference if the ram is the same company or if its mixed?

2. Which brand is the best for the new imacs? Except the original apple one?

3. Thanks ! :)

ok well first off it would be 2 GB or Giga Bites
If u have 2 GB installed it should be on two 1GB sticks (open up the ram compartment and check first) so u will need to buy two 2GB Sticks to replace them.
No they dont have to match Brand wise but if you have to by two at the same time why not buy the same. just go to http://www.newegg.com
and look under Apple ram and pick what you want.

you can use 3GB of ram with one 2GB stick and one 1Gb stick but it is not recommended
