I am thinking if possible i would do this. Is there a policy to let me upgrade mine when the new ones with 3g come out?

I currently have the 32gb but would be most interested in doing the 16gb 3G.

Possible? And would it need to be the same store i bought it from?

I'm gonna eat the $65 and return it this weekend or maybe next. The 3G is gonna be way worth the extra money to be able to have the internet anywhere to stream movies from the netflix app, abc app, stuff like that.

This was my original plan as best buy lured me in saying something that may not be true but nevertheless, I have 2 weeks to play with this iPad 32GB. The original plan was to return it and get the 3G but I came to realize that I might not need it after all. Since my works guest wifi works and I have wifi at home plus star bucks offers complimentary wifi for 2 hours a day and borders wifi is free. So basically I need wifi for like 5 instances a year and I already have a iPhone 3GS.

Makes me really wonder if I should spend the money on "just in case"

I am in the same boat. I will be returning my 64gb before the 14 day policy and getting the 64gb with 3G.

Yeah I dunno, I have wifi connections at the two places I spend 75% of my time, and I carry a (much more portable) 3GS with me all the time - so I'm really wondering if a 3G is worth much to me. I'm not really sure that it is. I certainly don't expect to be wanting to stream media from my home machine or anything like that.

My reason for the 3G is because I travel a lot for my job and I have had issues finding wifi on some of my travels. So by having 3G I can use that when wifi is not available.

I was considering it at first, but after finding out Sprint is bringing 4G here in June, went with the Overdrive mifi unit. I feel better paying Sprint for data that we were promised months ago from the ATT ******s anyhow. Not to mention the coverage is much better for me on Sprint so far. Speeds as good or better as my iPhone as well.

Plus the fact 4G is unlimited so it will become my home connection as well.

Still not 100% sure, but most likely will eat $50 restocking fee and return right before return period ends. I'll live iPadless for a week or two and get 16gb 3G.

I'm probably planning on returning mine next weekend to get a 3g version too. It seems like it'd be very useful to have 3g to do occasional work on the bus, which my iphone screen is too small for.

I'm in a similar boat in that I have wifi both at home and at work and I spend 75-80% of my time in one of those two spots. However, I am on a computer all day at work and have a Mac Pro at home that I use so my main needs for it are for the 25% of the time I am other places.

The other alternative was just to wait until the 3G versions were released and purchase one of them. I have never understood the "I gotta have it on the 1st day mentality". Is there really anything that you needed the iPad for on April 3 that couldn't wait another 3 1/2 weeks?
