Hello, I have Yosemite and also Windows 8.1 installed on a Macbook pro late 2013 15".
Is there any chance that I might loose windows partion if I upgrade to El capitan?
I don`t want to install windows again and all the programs and games on it.
If you have any advices about what should I do before upgrading to el capitan please tell me (except time machine backups).
Thanks in advance for your help!!

The default installation will simply upgrade your existing copy of OS X without affecting any of your personal files or Windows. However, things can, of course, go wrong.

That`s why I asked beacause both the operating systems work flawless and I just don`t want to get things messed up. If there are major risks I prefer not to upgrade.

There aren't major risks, but you need backups anyway. You run the chance of losing everything on your computer even if you aren't upgrading the operating system.

I see, this is true. Thanks!
I think I will wait for 10.11.4 final release of el capitan and upgrade.
