Upgrading with insufficient memory.

Can I use external flash memory stick to upgrade? Also i tried to empty my Photo's app but keeps showing 150Mb of invisible stuff. WTF. I mannually deleted all photo's and iCloud isn't activated.
Any ideas?

Which device? Which storage? We really need more info. And no you can’t use external storage to upgrade.

My 15.2 update was almost 6gb using iTunes.. In iPhone storage on device it shows iOS as taking up 8gb's of space total. Considering that's half of your total storage you may have to offload quite a bit of data to have enough space

updating a 16GB device is going to be tough -
Probably last ditch effort would be to backup to iCloud then fully erase the iPhone and set up as new - choosing iOS 15.2 as your installed OS and then restore from backup

I did it via iTunes and now it miraclousy worked!
