Upgrading your downloaded HD movies from 720 to 1080

I noticed that a lot of the movies and tv shows I've downloaded in the past using 720 format are now available for download in 1080. Do I have to repurchase these again to get them in 1080?

No, go to Purchased (right sidebar on iTunes Store front page) and select TV Shows>Not on this Computer to see what's available.

Note that not all in the list will have actually been updated to 1080p, so check first to confirm.
