I'm having problems uploading HD video to YouTube via my iPhone 4s.

I see the transfer bar uploading the video but the phone will eventually go to standby because the upload takes a while. When I unlock the phone, it's like nothing happened and the video did not upload. If I keep touching the screen to keep the phone from going on standby, the video will upload.

Have you guys experienced this? Is there a workaround?

You can only do HD on wifi...are you trying to use 3G?
 
Go into settings and set your auto lock to never. Then change it back once you're done.

Settings - General - Auto Lock

Also, lol at the guy who didn't bother reading the post.

Thanks jman. I'll give that a try. Hopefully Apple will fix this issue in the next update. Seems like a simple fix to keep the iPhone awake while it's uploading a video to YouTube.
