For some reason I am having issues uploading photos from iPhoto to flickr. I have no problems uploading to Facebook. I receive an error that says "Login failed. The login details or auth token passed were invalid." Has anyone had this problem? If so, how does it get resolved?

Thanks!
Scott

This is a test of flickr.

1) Go to your photostream, click on the one you want to post and click the All Sizes thingy.

2) Scroll down to Grab the Photos URL and copy that string.

3) Go to the message box where you are preparing your post for MR and click the little icon highlighted in screenshot 3 and paste the photo URL, then click OK. It will look like screenshot 4 and you are good to go.

Crap. I didn't read your post...and I have a Masters Degree...

I have been saving pics I want to move to Flickr in a seperate project folder on my desktop. I then use Flickr Uploadr to upload them. I bypass iPhoto in doing this. I hope this has been of some help.

I had no previous problems until recently. Could have been that I deleted my account and opened a new one, but can't find a work around other than uploading from flickr.

Deleting the account and opening a new one is probably your issue. Accounts log your IP address and make it difficult to reopen a new one on the same computer. That is how MR keeps banned users from jumping right back in. The account setup process remembers the computer.

Hope things get straightened out for you. As for me, I wanted to put together a Post from Flickr tutorial anyway.

Dale, if I could just add to your Flickr tutorial, Flickr request that all photographs are referred back to their website, so what I normally do is wrap a link around the photo tags which will link the entire photo back to either the Flickr image or just my Flickr home page.

Example in MR (with curley {} brackets instead of square [] brackets so it will be displayed):
{URL="http://www.flickr.com/photos/28500060@N05/4122453591/"}{IMG}http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2496/4122453591_8a338a6fca.jpg{/IMG}{/URL}

This looks complicated, but is rather easy. Just follow Dale's instructions above for adding the photo, then select all the IMG tags and add a web link.;)

Thanks for the refinement. I didn't know this and it explains why just copying the Flickr web address at my PhotoStream didn't work.
