As a statistician who mostly uses Excel and SPSS for work, I often have to upload files onto such sites as yousendit, turboupload, gigashare, and the like. I won't lie though, every now and then I'll share an *ahem* legal file of a much larger size.

My problem is that the site will allow me to select said file, but when I hit the upload button, I will get a message that the upload stopped because I didn't select a file. Therefore, these sites are not recognizing my files (I always zip the file). Anyone ever dealt with this problem?

Try a different browser, such as Firefox, see if it does the same thing.

...thanks for the quick reply, I am surely going to try that first. I did just recently switch back to Safari, since Firefox was acting a little quirky.

EDIT: that was exactly the problem...uploading on firefox without a hitch...
