How do you upload a file onto the iphone by going through my computer and not iTunes. every time it is plugged into the computer it is read as a camera. I need to upload a file to allow my email to work.

And also the iphone backs up its self on the computer how to you use these backups to restore you phone the “Restore” button is not working in iTunes.

For your email to work? That won't work. What email provider? For docs I use File Magnet from the app store.

As for your restore business, I don't quite get what you mean.

Basically you can't do much of any of that without iTunes. When you backup you usually have to restore through iTunes. Someone much brighter than me may know differently.

You also, without the help of another application or jail breaking your phone, add a file to your iPhone in the manner that you wish.

What file is needed to make e-mail work? That sounds odd.
