iPhone X Upper speaker (earpiece) doesnt work

Hi,

within the last 2 days my upper speaker doesnt work 3 times. I cant hear the person on the other end during a call etc. Music is only on the lower speaker. A restart will fix it temporarily. I also find this:

Did you also have this problem? I think it is a software bug.

Did you try factory restoring the phone and setting it up as a new iPhone?
Not having this issue on mine.

I set it up as new 14 days ago. Maybe i have to wait for 11.2.6 or 11.3. Atm i am on 11.2.5.

I would take it to the Apple store to make sure there isn't a hardware defect, just to be on the safe side.

Yes maybe but i dont think it is a hardware bug. After a restart everything runs fine. In that apple thread i posted before, over 300 people voted that they have the problem too and the apple thread has over 6500 viewers. One in that thread got an replacement X and the problem comes again. Also i found that thread:
