Upping RAM on my '11 Mini?

Ack! My dad gave me this to add to my Mac family, but it has 2GB installed for RAM. I'd love to bump it up to 8GB or 16 (probably not necessary), but any advice on where to find it cheap? Thanks!

Everymac has this: 2 x 8.0GB 1333MHz DDR3 SO-DIMM PC10600 204 Pin

It is DDR3L-1600 which works fine in the 2011. The 2011 will even go to DDR3L-1866.

The 2011 Server go for $300-$400 on eBay, so no, the RAM isn't worth more than the computer. Sorry, but that's just not true in any way, shape, or form.

I fear that you are going to be receiving what is in the picture, which is clearly not SO-DIMM ram. Those are regular DIMMs.

No, it's not. The 2011 Mac mini doesn't use 240-pin desktop RAM, it uses 204-pin laptop RAM.
