Why must UPS suck so badly? Original email from Apple stated 12/30 delivery of stock nMP. Tracking my delivery, it took 4 days to go from Austin TX to Mesquite TX (a 3.5 hour drive). This weekend the UPS system goes down and changes my delivery to 1/6 (two weeks to deliver?) and also shows my delivery as two packages (wtf?).
I get the below email from Apple yesterday (throwing UPS under the bus) - despite the fact that my package is at my local distribution facility - a few miles away. I called UPS, they are holding it there because their records show it is scheduled by the sender for a 1/2/13 delivery. No, it's not - your system changed it from 12/30 to 1/6 (I offered to forward them my original email showing the 12/30 delivery date). They won't let me pick it up at the facility either. Great customer service UPS. Will avoid using them at all costs in the future. DBs...
