so i wanted to try out urban terror so i downloaded the game. I then adjusted the settings and accidently forgot to put a number in for the width of the screen and to play in small screen so whenever I click on it it shows a window with nothing there since it is 0 pixels long. I have deleted then redownloaded it but it still doesnt work

You need to delete all the associated files. So preferences, caches, application support folders linked to urban terror.
An app like TrashMe may be able to find and delete them for you. If not you will have to delete them manually.
You may be able to manual change the width setting by opening the ".cfg" for urban terror or the quake engine. I believe the .cfg folders are located in user/library/application support folders linked to urban terror. This will save you the trouble or reinstalling.
