Resolved Urgent help needed: USB-ports turned off

Hi all,
I a problem with my USB-ports, they have turned off. I have tried to reset SMC (removing battery and so on), but no success.
Nothing is attached to the USB-ports; I have rebooted several times.

Can this be fixed or is it a hardware error?

I get a warning message, when I plug something in: USB-ports turned off - remove attached items.

What are you plugging in? Does it happen on multiple items? You could try hardware diagnostics and see if they find anything.

Thanks. I did pram reset. That did the trick
