Please, this is rather urgent.

I have an iPhone 4s w/ jailbreak on iOS 7.1.2
I wanted to restore settings through iTunes and restore to unjailbroken 7.1.2. but iTunes forced me to update (which I DON'T want).

I pressed "Erase all content and settings" and the iPhone as been with the black screen with the white circle in the middle for some good minutes, I'm beginning to worry that it might have gotten stuck.

What do I do to restore iOS 7.1.2 factory settings? I really don't want to upgrade

thanks in advance

EDIT: I pressed the home and power button for a while and Apple logo was on for a few seconds. It has now rebooted and came back as it was before this process. I'm slightly relieved that my phone is usable again, but it's still jailbroken... now I know you can't simply click "erase all content and settings" on a jailbroken device.

For my next question then... how do I unjailbreak my iPhone without updating it?

If you didn't get the answer you were looking for in your thread in the jailbreaks and hacks section, you won't get it here. If tools like iLex Rat don't work, you'll be forced to restore and update.

I've gotten the answer on another thread, sorry I created this one... I was rather worried my iPhone had died for good.

You can go ahead and close/delete this, please, thank you all for the help.
