urgent terminal help needed

My friend followed the instructions given in this thread - except she put two rather than just one space before the last period and when she hit enter her iBook went into flames. The flames are bluish and the smoke is thick and smell badly. She tried to restart, but the system seem completely frozen. She can't force quit since the on/off button has melted What should she do? Any terminal experts around...

Hope you can help, she's screaming rather loudly.

She should be able to restart no problem. This issue only effects her Desktop. When she logged in, it would create a new one (without her stuff that was on it, as she moved it/renamed it). Then she should be able to use the Terminal as normal to move it back to someplace sane.

Once she logs in, she should post the results of:

ls -laF ~/.Trash
