So, I am fixing this iPhone X. It was stuck in a boot loop w/Apple logo every time I turn it on..

It got splashed by water for less than five seconds.

It is water resistant but there is a crack in it so water could have gotten inside the iPhone X..

___

Should I crack it open?

I think its the power/volume flex cable..

What do you guys think could be the issue?

Tried 3 ispw restores and same issue. Just apple logo and then reboot..

It's possible some of the connectors have corrosion that can be cleaned but inspection of the motherboard isn't possible due to it's stacked and soldered design. If you can do board level repairs such as desoldering the boards and replacing chips/resisters then you possible could fix it.. Sounds like a loss cause to me..

I can't solder, should I bust it open and check everything?
