US app store

Hi all,

I recently got the new Macbook Pro from the US (I live in the UK) and got a $100 app store gift card which I have redeemed but not spent. I was about to download the new Mountain Lion but then got a bit worried it may not (for some reason) work. I'm sure its probably stupid to think about but just wanted confirmation from people who know more than me 😱

Would there be a problem if I downloaded it from the US app store? I did obviously create a fake US account to redeem the code

if you got the gift card then you bought it in the time frame that you get mountain lion for free

😀 Don't get me wrong. I'll use the voucher was just worried if there was some small chance there will be a issue o something if I download it from the US store (as thats where the gift card is registered to only)

You may have to use the US apple site up to date program page rather than the UK version but other than that you should have no issues
