I wouldn't get too excited with MWSF coming up in only 11 days. It's probably just emergency maintenance or perhaps some other minor update.

thanks mason for the link
i have $550 on standby
lol
just in case something comes

The URL doesn't even come up... usually there is a notice saying "We'll be back soon." or something like that. So it's probably maintenance, perhaps for the new year?

I get the sticky with "We'll be back soon." on it. Seems weird that they'd be doing maintenance during a time when it is likely that people would want to be using the store. It's late morning here, and early afternoon on the east coast.

Gah! It's driving me nuts. I was about to buy an iMac, too.

Of all the days for maintenance...

Yeah, it's just about noon here and I get the sticky, though about 15 minutes ago it just wouldn't connect, just a "failed" tab in the browser.

Is it just me or does the little button for Japan kinda look like a heart?

aww...
Apple <3 Japan

"OMGZ, PBG5z TOODAY???!1!~"

Maybe they're doing it at such a weird time because some hackers were being bad last night? *shrug*

Or they're taking off all the xmas stuff, but it wouldn't be down for that long...
meh. *shrug*

It's amazing how we all turn into little kids on christmas day. :p
Well I'm starting to think it has to be some sort of product update, just probably not what everyone is hoping for. Maybe new shuffles? Or maybe the updated mini specs will be posted.

I hope it's something cool, not just maintenance. I really don't think they'd be doing maintenance at 12 o'clock cst, though that's just me.

Maybe they are prepping for new products in ... 10 days, 23 hours and 5 minutes?

:D YIPPY

OOOOh! And my wife and I just bought a G5 last night, Seriously!
Obviously Apple is not selling all PPC for 1/2 price. But if they did, Apple has price matching. I purchased a refurbished iBook for $750. One week later they were selling the same iBook for $650. They refunded my credit card $100. All I had to do was call and request the refund.
