just noticing looking at the pre-order page from last year that it was roughly about 10 AM Eastern on the Thursday is when people start getting the import scans notices. I hope this holds up again this year so that I can then call Apple so that then they can release the restriction so that I can pick it up at the customer center on Friday.

Touch ID ♥️ I remember there was a front page article about possibly having it under the screen and I mentioned how useful that would be because of COVID, some unhinged troll told me I was an idiot. This is before quality of life enhancements such as mask mode. Face ID works but it sometimes fails for me. Touch ID always works except for the rare time i need to wear gloves, and it’s crazy fast.

The Fontainebleau will open on December 13th — 15 years after the originally planned opening date.

I remember when I was getting my bachelor's degree my professor talked about it. At that time it was going through a financial crises. Bankruptcy abnd all. Construction started in 2007 and I was in High school. So, it's been a long time coming. I honestly think that place is cursed. You don't want to be around that area at night. Some places in Vegas are just eerie. You just don't see any progression.

face ID is perfect for me and never has issues… it’s so much faster than thumbprint IMO

Swithing off AOD had no significant positive impact on Battery life on my iPhone 14 PM. It continued to be unsatisfactory.

That sounds counterintuitive to me because on Apple Watch always-on display is disabled as part of the low power mode

If you think Fountainbleu is cursed, then you haven't heard about the curse of the Hacienda, which was the big thing when I moved here.

for NYE 1998, Vegas decided to blow up the Hacienda (where Mandalay Bay present is). It was built in the same Y formation that Mandalay Bay is. Well, when they blew it up, the SE section of it (the stem of the Y faced west, so the other two sections faced NE and SE) didn't fall. So a couple of weeks later after everything settled and they were able to get some of the debris from the initial implosion out, they blew up that section again, and it finally came down.

The curse is that the Hacienda didn't want to go; well, when they got all of that cleared up and started to actually build Mandalay Bay, they realized that the ground wasn't packed down hard enough, so the foundation of Mandalay started to sink. Making it worse, it also started to take down the Luxor and part of Excalibur. They were left with two choices: find a way to elevate the foundation and repack the ground, or blow it up and build again. They chose the former.

The curse of the Hacienda still exists; if you look slightly, you'll see that Mandalay Bay is slightly tilting southeast.

I used track by reference > phone number > got the number ending in 4 digits > Asked live agent chat to find it for me using that number and phone number as reference.

@TheYayAreaLiving 🎗️ I just sent the past hour and a half on the phone with an Apple customer service representative. I had to call them about the case I had to order. For some reason my Apple Store app always sends the order to the wrong address ,and it did it again. He told me from the beginning that there was no hurry, that we could talk as long as we needed and wanted to.
So after he fixed the problem and said that he had the correct address now, we started to talk about other things.
Of course the thing that we talked about the most is something you already know about, and that is my getting run over by the car. We talked about that for a long time. But after a while I was able to tell him about this thread. He was very excited and interested in the thread and how we all have done it for so many years now. That of course lead us to talk about you !
I got to do my favorite thing and brag about you for a while. He acknowledged that they are not permitted to be on the forum, but said that he and other Apple employees would be very impressed.


Add one more Apple employees who knows about you and is impressed.

I'm so glad you were able to get back in here just on time and catch up. Again. I'm very sorry. You had to catch up to 400+ pages in here. However, it was out of my hands. I was sus too. I know the feeling and the pain but I know you would be just fine because YOU ARE STRONG!

Even tho they are not permitted to be members of the forums but I strongly believe Apple is on MacRumors all the time. The community we have is amazing and Apple listens to the people to enrich lives. Alot of my posts have gotten recognized here from Apple. It's not a coincidence.

It’s been over a year now but again that’s normal. It really takes a very long time.
One of the reason why I was so ready and excited for this thread to start was that because of all of this stuff I missed so very much of it last year. My brain was just not ready to process all of this then. I am a whole lot better now. Both my brain scores and my walking scores are over 90 percent. That’s all that the therapist can do for you. But I have gotten to about 95 or 96+ on both now.

Stay strong! You will overcome before you know it. Sucks you missed out last time but hey you made it just fine this year. Next year things will be bigger and better. Keep your head up high! I'm so excited you are getting your new iPhone.

Our friend @TheYayAreaLiving 🎗️ has known me for a long while. She can tell you that one of the things that people should know about me is that I don’t quit. Never. And so I have not quit on this one too. I can promise you that I will be here next year and I will be better than I am now. Thanks for Recognizing, that I became a survivor. Yes I did almost die. But I was not going to give up. And now I tell people that they need to go do the same thing. We can all overcome.

In fact, why don't people just use the HideMyEmail feature? For anything not essential like banking and insurance stuff I use that HME feature of iCloud+. So even selling your email is not a thing anymore
