iPhone 7+ 10.2.1 beta 4.

I've been having an issue with my batter usage and standby time being the same. It doesn't completely wreck my battery time, but I'd say it almost cuts it in half.

I can't pinpoint when it started, but it's been a couple months, and multiple iOS'. I've tried every "fix" I've read online, and none seem to work. I've tried hard reset, deleting apps, fresh installs, turning off various location services, deleted email accounts, and other setting changes that I thought might help. Since I've seen others with this issue, I thought maybe someone would have a solution. Below are some screenshots for reference.

Thanks in advance for your help.

So you are saying restoring as new and not using a backup (referring to the fresh install you mentioned) still results in that issue? Basically a completely restored empty phone with no backup used, no additional apps installed, and without even signing into any accounts like iCloud still experiences this?

This is correct, with the exception of not signing into iCloud. Not sure why I didn't think to not sign into iCloud. Other than that, yes. A fresh install still results in this issue. I'll try another time and not sign into iCloud and see how that goes. Thanks for mentioning that bit.

Hi. I have posted this in another Thread. Maybe you can check the Log File. It is also the "mediaserverd: com.apple.audio.VAD"?:

Ok there is something you can try. The next time when standby and usage are same let the iPhone on so it will turn off when the battery is empty. Then go to: Settings--> Data protection (Datenschutz in Germany)--> Anlaysis (below) --> Anlaysis Data = and there search for "LowBatteryLog". There you will see what drains your battery. For me it is "mediaserverd: com.apple.audio.VAD". Search on Google for that and you will find some People with that error. That service is an Apple service thats seems buggy and not a app.

„...

apsd: APSCourier(tcpStream:dataReceived:) NoIdleSleepAssertion == 255, held for 00:00:00

apsd: APSCourier(tcpStream:dataReceived:) NoIdleSleepAssertion == 255, held for 00:00:00

assertiond: SpringBoard:59:59-5BFCC1EF-2F38-43C1-8091-B9549272DAC0 [FBSystemApp] [0x100b06010] SystemIsActive == 255, held for 00:00:03

mediaserverd: com.apple.audio.VAD [vdef] AggDev 44.context.preventuseridlesleep PreventUserIdleSystemSleep == 255, held for 05:32:56

mediaserverd: com.apple.audio.VAD [vzzz] AggDev 2.context.preventuseridlesleep PreventUserIdleSystemSleep == 255, held for 29:04:49
...“

So that prevents sleep/standby for 29h.... Usage and standby will be the same...
