My old Belkin F5U252 won't work in my 7,1 (worked in my old 4,1, but I hadn't used it since El Capitan), so I find myself needing a replacement as I'm one USB A port short of the bare minimum to get the essentials up and running (and I need a couple more to get everything up and working). Any recommendations? Any known working cards?

FYI, the Sonnet cards are advertising MP7,1 compatibility but have not been confirmed.

i think all highend USB cards with asmeda chipset (sonnet or highpoint) works well in a 7,1

and some modern cheap without external power also
